HOW TO REGISTER
SonicAwareness offers musicians 2 types of membership. The choice is between Basic Membership and Full Membership.
Basic Membership is FREE, and is good for people who are new to the music scene, and have a limited repertoire. With Basic membership you can upload one song only, and get a feel for the site.
Full Membership requires a small fee to be paid, and is for musicians who are ready to increase the size of their audience, and want to take advantage of all the programs SonicAwareness has to offer. With Full Membership, Uploads are unlimited, and royalties are paid!
No matter which membership option you choose, your music goes "live" online the moment you upload it (we allow anything that doesn't promote hate), and your music will remain your property, and you can remove your music at any time.
Full Membership also comes with a Money Back Policy for all musician members, and a Special Cancellation Agreement (Guaranteed Satisfaction by 60 days or you get ALL of your money back) for members who register for 1 year.
We recommend that you read our contract for musicians as well.
Although the registration process is the same for both forms of membership, each one carries with it different features and benefits. We suggest reading about the benefits of each membership by clicking here.
Once you decide which membership you are interested in, the registration process will begin. Don’t worry, it doesn’t take long. You’ll probably be able to breeze through 90% of it in less than 2 minutes as you are simply asked to answer some questions and fill in some blanks. All of the information you provide pertains to you as an artist or band member, your music, and your musical preferences.
While the majority of the registration can be done with ease, we highly recommend that you take your time when listing your musical Influences and writing your Philosophy and Future Goals. These two aspects of the registration are critical in attracting listeners to you and your music. While you can change and/or supplement this information at any time, it is to your benefit to do a complete and accurate job the first time.
Once you complete your registration, you are a member! All that’s left is to set up your artist account and follow the instructions provided for uploading your music.
