It's a nice, tight package, isn't it? As you can see, SonicAwareness has sent the Listener, John Smith, a recommendation. The recommmendation is based on John's musicial tastes and preferences (which he told us about when he signed up as a Listener!).

The recommendation first includes a band name and a hyper-link to the band's listening room. This way, John may access the band quickly and easily. Next, you'll notice there's a short 'write-up' about the band. These write-ups are developed by the bands and/or SonicAwareness, and are used to give the Listeners an introduction to their recommended band. It provides a little extra incentive, and encourages the Listener to check the band out immediately.

Below the write-up is a notification to the Listener that the recommended band has a CD available for purchase(Remember, the same thing was available in the band's Listening Room!). This CD notification is available to Full, Advanced, and General Promotional Service Member Musicians. The CD notification is coupled with a short write-up of its own. Again, the write-up is used to encourage action on the part of the Listener. You'll notice that a hyper-link is also included, so the Listener only has to click in order to reach purchase information. Moreover, the band's new album cover is displayed beneath the CD notification and write-up.

Finally, you'll notice that concert information (a "Conert Alert")is also included in this email. Concert information is included in Email Alerts when the recipient lives close to the concert venue. For example, if a band is playing a show in Chicago, and John Smith happens to live in Chicago, then John will receive email notification of this particular concert. If John Smith didn't live in or near Chicago, then he would still receive the Email Alert with the music recommendation and CD notification. However, the concert listing would not appear.

We believe that email alerts are the most effective way to promote your music directly to a new audience. These are people you normally would not be able to reach! Alerts, coupled with the tools and services shown previously, are used on SonicAwareness to ensure that your music is heard and you get noticed. We wouldn't have it any other way!
