INSTRUCTIONS
- Send an email towith your artist/band name in the subject line. In the email, include the following information:
- The CD package that interests you
- A list of all the songs you want featured on the CD. Song names and durations must be included. MOST IMPORTANT…List the songs in the order you want them to appear on the disc! By the way, you can include music that is not currently featured on SonicAwareness, as long as it’s yours!
- The Title of Your CD
- Once we receive your email, and approve your request, we will send you an email that includes a link to our Ready2Go server, and a copy of our Duplication Rights Agreement that must be completed and faxed back to SonicAwareness (We include the Fax number in the email). After you have faxed the Duplication Rights Agreement to us, go to the server to upload all your music, liner notes, graphics, and art work. Please note, we cannot commence production of your CD until we receive the Duplication Rights Agreement.
CLEARLY LABEL ALL OF YOUR FILES! This applies to all media you upload. All music titles should correspond to the track titles you sent us in the initial email. Moreover, all artwork, liner notes, graphics, and other media, should be titled appropriately. We recommend titles such as “Front Cover Artwork”, “Tray Insert Graphic- Inside of CD”, “Tray Insert Graphic- Outside CD”, etc. We will contact you if your information is unclear, but please, do your best to ensure clarity. The clearer you are, the faster your CD will be created.
- All music sent to us must be in Mp3 format. You may choose to submit Mp3s that have been encoded at a higher bit rate in order to ensure the highest quality possible. However, Mp3s recorded using a high bit rate are not mandatory and are not required to produce a quality CD. This is entirely your choice. We do recommend that, for the purposes of this program, you encode your songs at a minimum of 128kbps. Furthermore, any artwork/graphics should be produced at a dpi that is conducive to, at the very least, above average print quality. We recommend that art work/images be "vectored". Vector based images include CorelDRAW, Illustrator .eps, Windows Metafiles (.wmf), Corel Exchange 6/7 (.cmx).
After you have submitted your music and graphics, we will get to work on your CD. Every now and then, we may contact you in order to ensure quality and accurate production. We will then send you one copy of the finished CD, for FREE, in order to get your approval. Once you approve and sign-off on the CD we will make it available to everyone at SonicAwareness through our online store.
