Origin of band/artist: When you hear the word “Chicago” what comes to mind? The Bulls, Michael Jordan, windy, cold and snow are adjectives commonly raised. MASTONI is the latest word to be associated with Chicago. Who is MASTONI? It is a dynamic rap duo whose members hail from Chicago, but are currently residing in Atlanta. MASTONI has been described as a “rap duo” that not only has PHAT BEATS & TITE LYRICS, but a positive message for society. MASTONI is comprised of two talented brothers, Tommy “RAJKAR” Williams and William (Billy) “ACNAIB” Thurston, II. Both Rajkar and Acnaib were solo performers and experienced limited success. However, in 1992 the two joined forces to create “MASTONI”. MASTONI has been featured on www.rapmusic.com and on www.mp3.com. This dynamic team was ranked in the top ten on MP3 for twelve consecutive weeks. With this success the duo is definitely on their way to becoming a positive voice in today’s chaotic society
