Philosophy: Is there going to be a Gangsta Rap invasion in Canada, similar to the one that started it all in California in the late 80's? Probably not. Is there merit in exploring the underside of the Canadian game,.. in saying; it ain't all righteous? Absolutely! As stated by JX; "Toronto is just as gritty and as wild as any city.. If I use the word mafia to depict any part of my experience, that's because I've ate with connected people, and I've broke bread with some of the grittiest.. If I use the term Mafia Rap to describe my music, that's because I am mafia.. We're all connected. That's just how I label my connections."
