Origin of band/artist: Strong Arm Family is a grow-oriented, existing business that was founded in 1998.
We scout and develop musical talent. Help individuals format and record their ideas on to CD, which allows them an avenue to express their God given talents. By doing so it gives them a sense of worth and make them use their creative imagination to help others. We provide a place for them to display that talent to the public through many forms of promotion and distribution
The first and foremost reason this business was started was to eradicate some of the violence that was taking place amongst the youth here in the City of Chambersburg. For one if you had talent you would spend more time developing that talent and less time doing things that would put you in a place were your talent would be wasted. For somebody to hear your music and compliment you is a rewarding feeling. Being compared to the people they saw on TV making millions and being told that they were just as good if not better than those that they looked up to made them see that with a burning desire, dedication and persistence they to could be seen all around the world gave them something to look forward to in the future. Let's face it, everybody was not born to be and do the traditional things in life i.e. be a Doctor or a Lawyer but these Doctors and Lawyers need music
Philosophy: Whatever may be said in praise of poverty, the fact remains that it is not possible to live a really complete or successful life unless one is rich. No man can rise to his greatest possible height in talent or soul development unless he or she has plenty of money; for to unfold the soul to develop talent he must have many things to use, and he cannot have these things unless he has money to buy them with. A man develops in mind, soul, and body by making use of things, and society is so organized that man must have money in order to become the possessor of things: therefore, the basis of all advancement for man must be the science of getting rich. The object of all life is development; and everything that lives, has an inalienable right to all the development it is capable of attaining. Man’s right to life means his right to have the free and unrestricted use of all the things which may be necessary to his fullest mental, spiritual, and physical unfoldment; or, in other words, his right to be rich.

Future plans and goals: Our major objective is to display talent in all of its many forms. A man develops in mind, soul, and body by making use of things, and society is so organized that man must have money in order to become the possessor of things: therefore, the basis of all advancement for man must be the science of getting rich. During the month of January our goal will be to communicate these ideas to people who have a burning desire to take control of their future. People who want to make a different.
We would like to have some type of dinner dance for Valentine’s day were all members of the Family dress up and take there love ones out for dinner a show and top the night off with some dancing. This should happen every year until it turns into a group vacation to show our love ones some appreciation.We plan to host our first Talent Show in late March or early April
This talent show will be geared towards the youth but used as a platform to showcase Strong Arm Family to the public. We will sale CD’s and other merchandise. I would like to host this talent show in the auditorium at the old Central High School on Third and Queen. The place is owned by Glen Dice, which is trying to sale the entire building for a million. He says that he would lease the auditorium out $1000.00 a month. The auditorium seat 1100 people, but it needs some work before we can put on a show. There is a Karate Studio across the hall Glen Dice says that the instructor of the studio was considering doing something in the auditorium so we would have to talk to him before Dice would lease it to us. Dice is not willing to lease the place by the month.
