Jenny DempseyYears together:
Origin of band/artist: Jenny Dempsey grew up in Norco, CA and started singing at an early age. She was involved with choir and musical theater while in high school, as well as being the lead singer of a rock band for the Fender Museum of Music and the Arts in Corona, CA. She held that position for three years and the band played on the CBS News, at the Hard Rock Cafe in Los Angeles, and other venues to promote music education for children. Jenny's desire to go solo started when she had to leave the band due to a move down to San Diego for college. Jenny has been writing songs and poems since she was 13, but did not play guitar and put the songs together until she was 17. Now, a fresh 19 year old, Jenny's songs have become more complex and with the help of her laptop and a recording program, Jenny has made her own album.
Philosophy: Everyone should be who they want to be. No one should be stuck in traps of someone else's ideas. We all should focus on being happy and comfortable with ourselves.
Future plans and goals: Jenny hopes to record a demo cd soon and start submitting it to coffee houses in the San Diego area.
