Years together:
Origin of band/artist: I was a staff songwriter in Nashville, Tenn. for several years before moving to Missouri to write for the late Boxcar Willie. He recorded three of my songs, one being the title song to his TV album "Last train to Heaven". For the past few years I've been on the road in the Carolina area writing and recording for myself.
Philosophy: I think the music business is the only "business" where there is no competition. It's a big world with lots of people who have lots of ideas and a variety of ways and genres to express them. If your music is from the heart and it satisfies you then chances are someone else will relate to it too.
