I hear where you are coming from, but being such a young, and diverse place, I think that Canada has a hard time finding that sound that's ours. Of course this type of music makes you think of the Britsh Isles, that's where the style is from, but don't quote me on that. It's definatly not exclusively Canadian as well, but at the end of the day, we can still associate it with the East Coast.
