I don't have a lot of experience with this style of music, so I listened with great interest. It certainly is a radical departure from what I do as a musician, and that made it very difficult to relate to the music.

I like the intro, the bass ostinato grabs my attention. I also like the contrast between the voice (Which has a somber, ticked-off type of sound) and the bell sounds (which almost sound like something from a baby's crib!). I don't know if this was intentional, but it produces quite a contrast.

I think because of my background, I wasn't able to fully appreciate this the first time around. By the 4th minute I found it difficult to maintain interest...then again, that's probably just my personal tastes. Still, I'd like to hear something else from this artist or genre.

While I know many people don't care for this type of music, I still believe that it's as legitimate as any other music. JX obviously has something to say, and this is how he feels he can best get it across.
