Who is eligible: This particular agreement is available only to artists/bands that sign up for one full year. Once an artist/band signs up for 1 year, this agreement takes effect. Artists that sign up for a six or three month period are still entitled to refunds, should they cancel their membership prematurely. However, they are only entitled to receive the unused portion of their membership fees as outlined in article #5 in our contracts.

When it takes effect:This special cancellation agreement takes effect the moment any annual payment is made by a musician.

The special cancellation provision: Once the special cancellation agreement takes effect, you have 60 days to determine whether SonicAwareness is right for you. We personally think you will be delighted. Nonetheless, if you decide, before the end of your 60 day determination period, that you wish to cancel your membership with SonicAwareness, simply notify us via email () and you will receive your entire membership fee, all $70 in return.

IMPORTANT! WE WILL NOT BE INFORMING YOU OF THE START OR END OF YOUR 60 DAY OPTION PERIOD. YOU MUST KEEP TRACK OF THIS YOURSELF.

IMPORTANT! MAKE SURE YOU USE THE EMAIL ADDRESS LISTED ABOVE (). This is the only way to simultaneously cancel your membership and reap the benefits of the special cancellation agreement. If you do not send us an email, via this address, before the end of your 60 day period, you may not take advantage of the special cancellation agreement. Emails that request cancellation and are sent to other addresses will not be considered valid for the purposes of this special cancellation agreement.

As long as your email is sent to the proper address before the end of your 60 day assessment period, you will be entitled to a full refund.

By taking advantage of this special cancellation agreement, you will forfeit any royalties accumulated by unique downloads during the time you were featured on SonicAwareness. This is done to ensure that people do not take unfair advantage of our special cancellation agreement. Of course, if you have accumulated significant royalties, you probably won't want to leave!

If prior to your cancellation request, you received royalty payments for unique downloads of your music(due to our quarterly payment system), the amount in royalties, paid by us, shall be deducted from the membership fee we refund to you. Therefore, if you received $25.00 in royalties during your time on SonicAwareness, you will be refunded $45 ($70-$25 = $45).

If your paid royalties equal or exceed $70 (then you should stick around!!!) and you still wish to cancel prior to the end of your 60 day assessment period, feel free to cancel, but there will be no refund of any part of your membership fee.
