What’s a Downloadable CD? How do I purchase a Downloadable CD? How does it work?
A downloadable CD contains all the music found on a particular band’s/artist’s CD. In this case though, when all is said and done, you have the music in your possession without every having touched an actual compact disc. Simply put, when you purchase a downloadable CD, we give you access to High Quality Mp3 Recordings of all the songs on the album you are interested in (assuming the album is available for sale as a downloadable CD). As a result, you don’t have to wait for a CD to show up in the mail, and you don’t have to pay a shipping charge! The most important thing, The Music, is readily available for download onto your computer…and that’s all folks!
How it works
When you decide to purchase a downloadable CD, you are taken through the regular payment process that is used for regular CD purchases. Of course, in this case, there is no shipping charge! When your purchase is complete, you are provided with a URL that directs you to a private page that contains the Mp3 files from the Downloadable CD you just purchased.
In order to play the Mp3s you'll need a media player, such as Music Match Jukebox, Windows Media, Quick Time, etc. Before you make any purchase, we recommend you make sure you have one of these players.
When you see the Mp3 files, they will be listed in serial number form...they'll look like this....

The serial numbers are just the site's way of distinguishing the songs from one another. Don't worry though, the songs are always listed in order according to the Track List provided before you make your purchase!
All you have to do is save the files directly to your computer (We recommend ‘right-clicking’ on each file and saving the file to your computer). When you finish saving all the files, your Downloadable CD is complete and in your possession!
NOTE: The page that contains all the Mp3 files is set to expire within 48 hours of your purchase! Therefore, when you make your purchase DON’T DELAY! SAVE THE MP3 FILES IMMIDIATELY! The expiry time exists to protect the music provided by the Bands and Artists who make their music available on site.
IF THE PAGE CONTAINING THE MP3s YOU PURCHASED EXPIRES BEFORE YOU GET TO DOWNLOAD ALL FILES, YOU UNFORTUNATELY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ACCESS THE FILES AGAIN, UNLESS YOU PURCHASE THE SAME DOWNLOADABLE CD A SECOND TIME.
